I just cut it up and stir fry it with balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, a little salt a pepper, and sometimes some ginger and garlic. Its pretty yum. And I'm really sad we had to postpone your trip, but I'm really glad we don't have to worry about you wasting your weekend camping out in airports trying to get here and back!AJ Macchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12416309567254318744noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21286180.post-48023377534608674642008-09-12T15:02:00.000-05:002008-09-12T15:02:00.000-05:00i was going to suggest the asian cole slaw, too! y...i was going to suggest the asian cole slaw, too! yummm.

also, my favorite thing to do with cabbage is veggie soup. it's only a few days away from autumn and a good pot of vegetable soup is always perfect to get you in the mood for the brisker days.Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04685933533367928951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21286180.post-1761532101806703792008-09-12T13:54:00.000-05:002008-09-12T13:54:00.000-05:00elaine-- connie has an AMAZING recipe for a Japane...elaine-- connie has an AMAZING recipe for a Japanese chicken salad. Other things you will need:
6 green onions finely chopped
1 package ramen noodles broken into small pieces (no seasoning, of course)I don't always do this.
1/2 stick of butter
1/4 cup sunflower seed kernels
1 small package of slivered almonds

for the dressing:
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tbs. soy sauce
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Chop greens and combine with the cabbage. Cover and refrigerate.
Saute sunflower seeds and almonds in butter until golden brown. Drain excess butter.
Add to slaw, along with ramen noodles.
Make dressing ahead of time, but do not pour on until just before serving.Mrs. BrownAbleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16791288967598835174noreply@blogger.com
